Sheena Cumiskey – Health Trusts

Sheena Cumiskey was born and brought up in Chester.

After graduating from University of Liverpool, Sheena joined the NHS as a National General Management Trainee.

Sheena has extensive experience working in the health service at both operational and strategic level. She was appointed to her first Chief Executive post 13 years ago.  She is currently in her fourth Chief Executive post at Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.  Prior to this she was Chief Executive of Trafford Primary Care Trust in Greater Manchester and was also Chief Executive of Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Trust and Halton General Hospital, both are Acute Trusts.

Sheena currently chairs the NW Graduate Schemes and Emerging Leaders Steering Group.  She is also a member of the NW Leadership Academy Board and Advancing Quality Reference Group.

Outside work Sheena enjoys spending time with her family, keeping fit by running with friends and the occasional half-marathon, and is an active member of her local church.
